I've finally found the best new York style pizza in Greensboro. The atmosphere and service are solid, but the food is exceptional.
I've always loved this place with a special place in my heart. I've been coming to Mario's since day one at the original location before they put this location in Greensboro. Their food is so fresh and delicious and pretty big sizes! Especially the pizza slices. It's worth the money and they give drinks with everything which I appreciate. Prices are average like any other Italian place. I'll never stop coming here!
I finally found a great meatball sub! Tender meatballs, fresh marinara and lots of whole milk mozzarella on perfectly toasted bread. I got the daily sub special: any sub, a side and a drink for 14.99. The side can be cheese sticks..yes please! Crunchy and packed with cheese. UPDATE 4-22-25 Hubs and I decided Mario’s before Costco is our new tradition. Today we shared the sausage calzone YUUUUMEEEE
1st time coming here and I plan on coming back the next time I'm in town. The Works pizza was a hit and the kids enjoyed the pepperoni and the boneless wing was good even though they had a hiccup in the kitchen
I do think that they have delicious Bake ziti and eggplant Parmesan dishes in town :)
We stopped here after visiting the Good Feet store. It was suggested for lunch. Plenty of parking in this shopping center. It was clean and easy to order. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Staff was friendly and there was lunch traffic. The pizza and oh my goodness - the best wings I've had. Cheese slice was 3.80 and the wings were 11.95 for 6. My hubby got the Chicken Philly and fries. Total of 39.42
This was our 2nd visit to a Mario’s location here in Greensboro and in our opinion, head and shoulders above the other one. We ordered ours well-done, IMO, makes it closer to authentic NY pizza, and it was cooked to perfection. We will be back.
My husband and I have been coming here for at least 7 years. Lately, it seems like we’re there once or twice a week haha The food is INCREDIBLE, it’s always consistent, and everyone is so kind to us and our family. Our favorite restaurant by far!
